Pathfinder: Helping
You Find Paths to
Adventure
Few paths are straight,
especially the paths you're bound to travel in a Nissan
Pathfinder. Paths undulate: side to side as
well as up and down. For paths that wind through
Australia's landscapes, you need the comfortable agility
of Pathfinder's independent multi-link rear
suspension construction and coil springs, which provide
better ride and handling, as well as maximising the
tyre's traction on whatever path you're
travelling.
For paths that climb,
paths that descend and paths that can't make up their
minds, Pathfinder has the right blend of technology and
ruggedness to see you through.
To get you up the
climbing paths, Pathfinder provides 198 kW of power from
its 4.0 litre V6 petrol engine or 126 kW of power from
its 2.5 litre intercooled diesel. Either way, those
steep paths just got flatter.
To see you safely down
again, as well as Pathfinder's ALL MODE 4x4 system, you
have Anti-Lock Brakes (ABS) and an Active Brake Limited
Slip Diff (ABLS) in ST-L and Ti when driving in low
range. Automatic models in ST-L and Ti
specification also provide Hill Descent Control and Hill
Start Assist.
Both
Petrol and Diesel Nissan Pathfinders supply you with a
hefty 3,000kg towing capacity (with
brakes).
The
first treasure hunt in your Pathfinder can be discovering
all the storage spaces inside. As well as its abundant
luggage space, Pathfinder has plenty of thoughtful
storage throughout with a large double-layer centre
console, dual level glove box, cubby holes, under-roof
storage, holder for sunglasses, cup holders, and a dozen
cargo hooks.
All
packed? You're ready for all paths in your
Pathfinder!
